Rescheduling:
From time to time, things go wrong and an appointment must be rescheduled. Please inform us as soon as possible: that way
someone else may use the appointed time. Therapists are NOT paid
unless a treatment is given. If you need to reschedule, please give a 24
hour notice.
Ethics:
Body & Spirit is a professional, relaxing therapeutic atmosphere. As such, there is a strict policy against
sexual conduct, comments, and innuendo. All therapists reserve the right to
terminate the massage session if these behaviors occur. If a client
session is ended because of such behavior, he/she will still be expected to
pay the therapist for their time.
FAQ: Q: What should I wear to my massage?
A: You should dress comfortably. If you are having a Body Posture analysis,
it is customary to bring along workout clothes or the like, as your therapist
will be making specific notes on your alignment.
Q: When should I arrive?
A: For the first appointment, it is necessary to arrive approximately 15
minutes before your scheduled appointment. This allows you and your therapist
plenty of time to fill out standard paperwork, and become acquainted.
Q: Should I Tip?
A: Tips are always appreciated and a wonderful way to let your therapist know
you are happy with their work! While always appreciated, tips are never
expected...just enjoyed.
Q: Is massage painful?
A: Massage should never be painful! Your therapist will ask you from time to
time if the pressure he/she is using feels good. If, at any time, your
therapist is applying too much or too little pressure...don't be shy! Just
tell them.
